TIMBER FRAME HOUSES

CHOOSE ONE OF THE OPTIONS WALL STRUCTURES

Energy class A++

U VALUE= 0,151 W/(m2K)

Energy class B

U VALUE= 0,304 W/(m2K)

A++ energy class heating is barely needed but the need for air conditioning is significantly low (around 1 hour a day)

For B class heating and air conditioning are around the same as in a well-insulated concrete house

A++ energy class
B energy class

Energy class, A++ utility bills will be minimal, but the wooden structure part will be 20 % more expensive

Energy class B utility bills will be around the same amount as a well-insulated concrete house

There often is the misconception that timber frame houses are twice as cheap as concrete houses. They are about the same price but with higher energy efficiency.
